We have been doing the Summer Learning Journey and one of the activities was making cartoon collectables . You had to make collectable cards for sea animals. I found using the poly line hard. Here are my cards!
Have you made collectable cards before ?

Kia ora Vincent,
My name is Mrs Williams and I’m part of the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey team. I’m also the designer of the Cartoon Collectibles activity, so thank you for having a go at my task! It was so fun to design and it’s even more fun watching what creative artists like you design from it! Your designs are very unique in comparison to many of the other student’s designs, which I really enjoyed! I think it’s super cool when people push outside the boundaries of what people would usually do for art. It is so cool that you created sea creatures but mixed them up with other objects like trees and donuts, that wouldn’t usually be in the ocean. Thanks for choosing to do something unique!
I think it’s super cool that you decided to create more than just one card! And that they have really vibrant colours!
Well done on a fabulous effort and thanks again for choosing to do my activity! Enjoy the rest of the Summer Learning Journey!

Hi
I am from wigram primary school.
I really like how much effort you put in the pictures, next time you should say what cartoons they were from.
Thank you Annabelle it took me really long to make them. Thank you for the advice I will probably use it next time. From Vincent
Hi Vincent,
We are writing blog comments as a Year 5&6 class. We love the animal details, they are very artistic. We have also found the polyline tool hard to use but the more you use it, it gets easier. Maybe next time you could try zooming in while you use the polyline tool to make it easier. How did you get the idea to create the cartoon animals?
From Wigram Primary Year 5&6’s .
Thank you Miss Hanrahan for your advice, I will use it next time. I got my ideas from my favourite food and plant. from Vincent.

Hi Vincent, This is Krishay Sharma Wigram Primary’s 5&6. I like your creation and it is very artistic. I like your efforts on the drawing you made. I also realized the polyline I know it’s hard but once you do it again and again its gonna be easier next time, make sure to zoom your screen while doing polyline. Hi Vincent
I like your blog post because I like how you make the cards and the animals. Maybe if you click out of the animals the blue line will go away and it will look a bit better. Maybe if you hold down the mouse pad and drag it with the polyline it will make it a bit easier. Maybe you can talk about more of the animals and you make them.
From Newton/year 6 wigram primary school.
